That's some big codfish! I don't think he'd poach in my pan!
ReplyDeleteYour neighbors in the Granite State must wonder how this guy got out of the tank! Great shot. Looks like folks up there know how to have fun!
ReplyDeleteWith all this cold weather I'm glad someone thought about the poor cold granite cod! :)
ReplyDeleteA good soul put some warm things on him, lol ! It looks too funny !
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment, no these are only old postcards I meant Great grandmas in general !

Hello Andrée, Happy WW! I have been looking at your Sophie, she is a nice Beagle. Did she find any of the squirrel's peanuts?
ReplyDeleteAdi is better this morning, her meds have worn off and she wants some loving. She is eleven and we just qualified the third time as a therapy dog team. We visit assisted living and Alzheimer's residents.
I lived in New Hampshire in the earlyh 1960s, your pictures bring back memories. We passed but didn't stop at Barton a few years ago in the fall. We came down from Sutton, Quebec.
Thanks for checking Adi out. She and I have been checking Uno out on the Today show this morning.
..
Wow, that is a ginormous fishie! Is it as tasty as it looks?
ReplyDeleteCool fish!
ReplyDeleteLove that warm fish :)
ReplyDeleteGood to see that someone felt bad enough to try to warm the poor fellow up. Happy WW and thanks for your visit.
ReplyDeleteLOL! That is fabulous...
ReplyDeleteI love the fish, but the statue itself and the humor. I wouldn't like the cold, either.
ReplyDeleteFin warmers! That's very cute. I am glad the fish is not cold any longer.

Hmmmmm...kind of random. But I guess being next to NH you'd have a lot of granite up there.
ReplyDelete...but who made the "fin warmers"???
ReplyDeleteNow there's a cold fish for you!
ReplyDeletelol That looks like something I might have done.
ReplyDeleteLove the dress up of the troutsey..lol.
ReplyDeleteI have several shot of him myself. My Hubbs grew up there and we visit quite often for family. I just love the scarf and mitts!!!
I missed WW this week, but I'll catch up with it next week!!!
Happy Valentines Day!
That is really cool!
ReplyDeleteDo you know who knitted the fin warmers and scarf for that fish?
I'm a day late for WW, but I just had to say, I have NEVER seen a fish like this! Terrific.
ReplyDeleteBobbie@TheRightBlue
Hahahaha~!! I think that fish is really cold, so freezing makes the fish all freeze like stone!
ReplyDeleteI forgot to post this week. Cool photo.
ReplyDeleteThere is this urban graffiti like movement where people knit sleeves for things like parking meters and so on. This reminds me of that.
Now that granite fish will never feel cold again on chilly lonely nights. :-)
ReplyDeleteAt least I know that you, Andree, are not a cold fish, but a warm and loving person. I'm so glad we spent this time together...wasn't that Carol Burnett? But she was saying goodbye, end of the show. I'm glad that's not at all the case with us...it's just the warm beginning...
ReplyDeleteThat's a classic!
