People drive by animals in the fields, city-type people anyway, and look out of their speeding cars and say, "oh, the poor horsies...out in the snow, all frozen." Well, they ARE party animals, just as you say, Andree... they love sticking together and exchanging horsesensical conversation. And they seem to handle the weather well, too, but sensibly... they get out of the worst of it and enjoy the best!
"Neigh~~~ Hor~~ Let's party in da snow~~...!!" said Horsey#1. "You mean running around and kicking snow into each other?" asked Horsey#2. "Yea.. that's the idea," replied Horsey#1. "In this temperature?" asked Horsey#3. "You must be crazy!" shouted Horsey#4. Horsey#5 knocking onto Horsey#1's head, "Are you ok?" "The cold must have gotten into his head," remarked Horsey#6. "Hey guys! Let him play if he wants to. I rather curl up with my wife here," said Horsey#7 while rubbing his body against Horsey#8.
Haha.. I think I have gone insane! Ooops.. enjoy my interpretation on your photos here. Have a great weekend Andree :)
Sit tight! Fasten your seat belt! Drop in to have some fun in my PARTY http://crizcats.blogspot.com/
Very nice! That what I would have wished for our horses this winter, but we've hardly had any snow, and no frost either. What are they? They look so much like Danish workhorses... Thanks for the visit - we have openings - c'mon in...
Okay, I grew up in the country surrounded by cattle, horses, mules, goats, etc. and frankly even though it never got as cold in south Mississippi as it looks in your photos, I never could handle staying out in sub-freezing weather for lengthy periods of time.
Even now in north Florida it sometimes gets down to freezing and now that I'm middle-aged cold weather makes my bones creak quite a bit.
Anyway, great pictures for this week's photohunt.
I've got my entry up at http://www.anniemayhem.com/cgi-bin/wordpress/ in case you're interested. If you do visit, please leave a comment and feel free to explore the rest of my little blog.
wow! you have a very nice picture and I love the way you put consistency of the picture,it is very flexible...indeed you have a great post! keep it up!!!
I love your clear, crisp photos. But these make me feel sad because I remember the bit cross-stitch design I did but didn't get to finish. Its all about brown horses galloping in the meadow.
