That's some big codfish! I don't think he'd poach in my pan!

Your neighbors in the Granite State must wonder how this guy got out of the tank! Great shot. Looks like folks up there know how to have fun!

With all this cold weather I'm glad someone thought about the poor cold granite cod! :)

Hello Andrée, Happy WW! I have been looking at your Sophie, she is a nice Beagle. Did she find any of the squirrel's peanuts?

Adi is better this morning, her meds have worn off and she wants some loving. She is eleven and we just qualified the third time as a therapy dog team. We visit assisted living and Alzheimer's residents.

I lived in New Hampshire in the earlyh 1960s, your pictures bring back memories. We passed but didn't stop at Barton a few years ago in the fall. We came down from Sutton, Quebec.

Thanks for checking Adi out. She and I have been checking Uno out on the Today show this morning.

I love the fish, but the statue itself and the humor. I wouldn't like the cold, either.

I love the fin and tail hats! What a great shot.

Have a great day.

Hmmmmm...kind of random. But I guess being next to NH you'd have a lot of granite up there.

DoubleDeckerBusGuy said...

...but who made the "fin warmers"???

Cindy said...

Now there's a cold fish for you!

Paulie said...

lol That looks like something I might have done.

Love the dress up of the troutsey..lol.
I have several shot of him myself. My Hubbs grew up there and we visit quite often for family. I just love the scarf and mitts!!!

I missed WW this week, but I'll catch up with it next week!!!

Happy Valentines Day!

Paula said...

That is really cool!
Do you know who knitted the fin warmers and scarf for that fish?

BNS said...

I'm a day late for WW, but I just had to say, I have NEVER seen a fish like this! Terrific.

Hahahaha~!! I think that fish is really cold, so freezing makes the fish all freeze like stone!

I forgot to post this week. Cool photo.
There is this urban graffiti like movement where people knit sleeves for things like parking meters and so on. This reminds me of that.

Now that granite fish will never feel cold again on chilly lonely nights. :-)

At least I know that you, Andree, are not a cold fish, but a warm and loving person. I'm so glad we spent this time together...wasn't that Carol Burnett? But she was saying goodbye, end of the show. I'm glad that's not at all the case with us...it's just the warm beginning...

That's a classic!
