Photo Hunters: Smelly Daisy


Meet Daisy, Anna (daughter) and Aaron's Chihuahua. Daisy loves to swim in salt water now that the three of them live on Long Island Sound in New Haven, Connecticut. Daisy plays in seaweed after her swim. Daisy gets a lot of baths now.

  1. seriously, daisy never smells. people who stop to pet her on the street comment on it. they actually say, "oh my god. she smells good! I've never met a dog like that," and "She smells pretty."

  2. oh..anonymous knows daisy? my oopi oso smellssometimes especially on a hot and humid day.
    here temp is abt 24 - 35 daily celcius

  45. yes - I would imagine that Daisy is quite smelly. We used to have a black lab who would dig out of our fenced in area and run down to take a swim in the pond in our neighbors yard. She was always quite "fragrant" after that as well.

    Small world moment. I noticed in your profile that you live in Barton, Vermont. The name wasn't familiar so I looked it up and discovered some (really tenuous connections) - my parents began their honeymoon at Lake Willoughby so my Dad could finish his teaching stint at Lyndon Institute, and my aunt lives in North Troy. Although I haven't been up your way in years I do love that part of Vermont.

    our Sam has his smelly moments, but never bad. And I hate to say it, but I love his smell!
    He doesn't swim though. Hates the water (he is a Bernese Mountain dog)
