He was so happy sleeping in the spring sun and warmth under the sky lights in the rafters of the barn. In fact, I have seldom seen Charlie with such a relaxed and gentle expression on his face.
Then I remembered: he had been born and spent his kittenhood in a barn in central Vermont. Barns feel like home. Warm barns and sunshine must be heaven for him.
Hi Charlie! What a handsome face
ReplyDeleteyou have! For a barn cat you look

ReplyDeletebarns filled with rats to chase, and high up beams to sit on and look down on people... who wouldn't love such a place!

Charlie is a keeper for sure. I love to look at cat poses. They can be blase, innocent, mysterious, and loveable. Cats do indeed rule!
ReplyDeleteSorry to visit you so late but I went out at 7 this morning and come back at 9.30 pm at home! But I really enjoy to watch how Charlie had good time in the barn under the spring sun! I would like to do the same! Have a beautiful week, Andree!
ReplyDeleteI think we have cats that are very similar. This series of pictures really capture the beauty of this cat.

ReplyDeleteI was veeeeeeery late last night with my COT, but I have adopted a new cat.... Wanna come meet her? ;-)
I guess I have the advantage of some of your other visitors in knowing that Charlie is much more a housecat than a barn cat, but barns were designed with cats in mind, I think, and maybe vice-versa. The top shot was downright awesome, Andree. Good work!
