Tamarack (Larix laricina, or the American larch)
Also called hackmatack trees by the Abenaki

Wild Strawberry (Fragaria virginiana)
Native, produces small sweet berries

Coltsfoot (Tussilago farfara)
European import, one of the first spring flowers
