  3. I love the birds and you got some great shots. I used to always keep several different kinds of suet going for the nuthatches and woodpeckers. I miss knowing exactly where to watch for them. The still get food here, and come to my yard but I don't have the massive feeding stations for various reasons. If we have ice and snow I do supplement what the birds can find in my yard, and I also put grapes out in the spring to make it easier for the mothers feeding babies. We don't have the long spells of cold and ice like you do. We have winter but certainly not like in Vermont.

  5. I never get tired of your photos and I'm not sure if we have downy wood peckers here or not.

  6. I love bird photos, Andree, and you take wonderful pictures. Now that's the first time I've ever seen a woodpecker. What a pretty bird.

You put as many bird photos up as you like, I'll be admiring them.

    Take care.

  8. This is cool. I'm still trying to get the opportunity to shoot those two lovebirds which flew into my laundry area after I have hanged up my wet clothes.

  9. These are great shots. I haven't had woodpeckers come to my feeders yet. Maybe this winter. Right now the construction has scared of me and the birds.

  10. Such lovely birds. Glad you were able to catch good photos while they were busy eating. I'm sure they were happy to get some treats.
