ReplyDeleteAs a Coloradoan that was fed up with all the World Series coverage all the time, I must say: thank goodness it's over! :)
ReplyDeleteDuring the playoffs I called my sister, who lives in Maine, to ask if the Red Sox could afford to get Manny a uniform that fit and... maybe, a new batting helmet so that we could see the letter B. We decided that, since Manny is one of the best players to ever play the game, he can wear anything he wants. :<)

By the way, lived in Vermont for many years and Willoughby Lake was one of my favorite places to visit. My father had a trio, in the '40, yes, that's the 1940s, that played at a dance hall in that area every summer. Don't even know if it is still there.
