Lately, Lucy has become camera shy! I have been trying to take an adorable portrait of her, but as soon as I move the lens to my face, her face is not adorable and she will turn away or walk away from me. This is the sequence that has been happening:

When that did not work with the big camera, I tried using my phone, but I can't control the lighting and they are not candid shots. I had to talk outrageous baby talk to her to keep a semblance of happiness on her face, and that still did not work so well.
I have to figure this out. She used to be a cute and happy poser; you only need to see her sidebar photo to know!
So why am I thankful today? I am thankful that Lucy allowed me to take any photos of her. At all. 😕

ReplyDeleteI too have no idea. Hopefully it is just a passing phase. Lucy is a sweet and adorable. Maybe she prefers to see your face instead of the camera or phone hiding your face. Lol!

ReplyDeleteI think she reacted like this because she was doing her business, I think I wouldn't make a friendly face either if somebody takes a picture of me while in the restroom, lol ! poor thing ! BTW my cat would do the same !

Lucy is adorable. Each of our animals has gone through a "I will never, ever let you take my photo again!" phase. Right now Jo Jo runs every time she sees me and my cell phone!
