  1. Those old timers had some really interesting stones! I love the pictures of the fall scenery- I've heard that Vermont is just beautiful in the fall.

  2. All the glorious pictures you are posting are killing me! We still have so much to do before selling the house and moving to Island Pond/Derby/Barton (somewhere in the NEK). Your incredible pictures only cement my resolve to work faster and harder towards my goals.

    Beautiful, simply, beautiful!

  8. Beautiful photos. Did you go there to do genealogy? I was just curious because my husband is a genealogy nut.

  11. Wow! That last photo was my favorite.
This reminded me, my first (unofficial) date with Poor Hubby was a trip up to an old little cemetary in...Central City, I think. Somehow he knew I grooved on that kind of thing, even though I never told him. Thanks for the memory! :)

  12. I'm glad I'm not the only one who doesn't think it's morbid to find beauty in cemeteries.

Those are some beautiful photos.. all tell a great story, I'm sure.

I noticed the Fall colors on the trees. :)

  13. I love old graveyards, have always loved shooting them and even have done gravestone rubbings. I posted a few shots of a local graveyard a while back...http://www.thewatersedge.us/QuickSilver/index.php?showimage=119

  16. wonderful pictures!

I love watching that video, she had just learned to walk, and I took it the day before her first birthday. I miss her being a little baby, I try to hold ehr at night and cuddle, but she just wants to be an active *almost* 2 year old!

  17. Old cemeteries are neat places to explore. The pics of Vermont with the colors changing are so beautiful. One of these days we'll have to take a fall color trip to see them for ourselves. Good post.
