My rating: 4 of 5 stars
This was a fun listen and I learned a lot of little details of history that I never knew. My favorite section was about Cope and Marsh, the nineteenth century paleontologists that started the brontosaurus debacle. I have to say, though, that while McCormick is a great reader, the sound effects were not funny. They were distracting. But my sense of humor is pretty much nonexistent. This series of two audiobooks is free with Audible membership. I have already downloaded the second volume.
