We went birding in Killington at 6:30 AM. We went to the River Road and Roaring Brook Road. The mountains were covered in mist and the clouds were dark and low.

The mosquitoes were so awful that we soon gave up and left.

On our way to the car, I spotted this song sparrow in a tree and caught it on camera.

Even though the weather was again dark and rainy, I managed to get some detail of the bird. I am still learning how to use iPhoto on the photos.

I went birding yesterday, too, though not intentionally. A sparrow flew right into my bus windshield. I felt terrible for the rest of the morning.
