My imagination failing me for this week's "clean" theme, I choose to use these photos that I took on Thursday. Snow is clean, right? ;=)
These are the first robins I have seen in the Kingdom this spring (others have seen some in late March). The day that you see your first robin of spring is said to be your lucky day. We had a snowstorm instead! The photos were taken in Newport City, Vermont.
If anyone can identify the big woody plant that they were feasting on, please tell me!
I am happily going on a date all day Saturday, so I won't be commenting until Saturday night and Sunday (I know you will all understand!). WHOO HOO!!
Sounds like fun. Have a wonderful time and a great Easter.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos, I also just seen my first Robin of the season this week, it's a very neat feeling isn't it? Thanks for sharing your photos and I hope you enjoy your all day date! Stop by and visit me if you can!

Lovely photos. The robin is a lovely bird. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! The plant is sumac, you can eat it, too. We use it to make tea, sometimes. It makes a pinkish, lemony liquid - very refreshing. I like to make my Christmas wreath from sumac, but I feel guilty taking it away from the birds!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos! You did a great job with the theme.
ReplyDeleteHope you had a wonderful day on your date...
Lovely photos! It's snowing where I am, too - after 80 degree weather just a few days ago! That robin is a beautiful sight - I'm ready for Spring weather.
ReplyDeleteI have no idea what it is that they are feasting on but the pics are very beautiful. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my place!
Happy Easter, I hope you had fun on your date...
Beautiful picture! Very impressive!
ReplyDeleteI played too :-)
Yikes, snowstorms when robins are back -- hope your weather returns to normal soon. Thanks for stopping by too.
ReplyDeleteSnow!
ReplyDeleteGreat shots as well.
Happy Easter
Gorgeous photos. Our robins have been around for months here in southwest florida, I think they have just left and are probably some of the ones you're seeing up there, lol :)
ReplyDeleteMy photohunt photo is up, too: http://horseshirts.blogspot.com/2007/04/theme-clean-become-photo-hunter-view.html
I love robins, these are great pictures.
ReplyDeleteUntil we had the high winds at the beginning of this year we had a nesting couple in next door tree that was blown down.
Everyone would laugh at me because I spoke to them and called them Mr and Mrs Robin.
We have the robins year round and ours don't have the bit of white on their underbellies, just the red. They were a bit miffed yesterday as well because it snowed here in Virginia Beach, and for three hours with a slight dusting. This is the most we've had all year.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by.
I am not sure what the robin is feeding on but it looks like he aims to pick that thing CLEAN!!! There, you lived up to this week's CLEAN theme even more than you thought you had.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful robins! Thanks for visiting.
ReplyDeleteNice photos. Yeah, this week's photo hunt was hard. Snow is clean at first until it melts.
ReplyDeleteThose photos are absolutely beautiful!! Thanks for sharing them!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog.
ReplyDeleteALL of your pictures are great. :-)
I thought about snow for this week. I think it's a great choice, & these photos are lovely. Great job.

Clean snow, that works for me, I love snow, but seeing your colorful robin reminded me how beautiful spring is.
ReplyDeleteThat's a beautiful Robin! And you take awesome photos....Wow!
ReplyDeleteHi, I'm a new Photo Hunter from Singapore. Nice to 'meet' you.
Yes, snow is very clean, and I'm glad it is there and not here! Great photos.
ReplyDeleteWhat gorgoeus photos! I cant beleive how gorgoeus! Thanks for visiting my photo today!
ReplyDeleteI love your photos. We don't get snow here in South Africa and it's also pretty rare to see a Robin where I live but the coastal areas have Robins.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my Blog.
Patti: thank you for the info on the sumac. Once I had a place to start, with your help, I found that it is staghorn sumac!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures! I had no idea it was that cold in Vermont at this time of year. Brrrr!
ReplyDeleteWhat great pictures!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures, and interesting to hear that you don't have robins all year. Ours are like srp's - here all year and no white undreneath.
ReplyDeleteSorry for the late comment (holiday) - thanks for visiting earlier :)
How adorable! I love robins, another sign of spring :-)
ReplyDeleteSuch lovely photos. Good work.
