John and I went to a yard sale in New Hampshire on Saturday and found this old Singer sewing machine. It needs some work and we have found sites online to replace cords and belts and stuff. If you have one of these antiques, you may want to check out these sites:
Our machine was one of 50,000 alloted on May 16, 1922 in Elizabeth, New Jersey. It is a model 66. It may have originally been a treadle machine but is no longer. It would be great to restore it to its original greatness. I grew up learning how to sew on a Model 66, but not one this colorful._/\_/\_
We used to have a Singer machine in our house too! I think just like this one. Loved the excerpts from the lolcat bible! Take care :)
