We are at the peak of blueberry season here! We picked 18.5 lbs (8.4 kg) of blueberries on Saturday at Blueberry Ridge in North Troy. Matt is the champion picker — he picked twice as many baskets as Amy and I. Above you see several pounds drying after being washed and individually stemmed. They are now all weighed, bagged and frozen for the winter. Below you see Possum helping. She was so much help that I needed to wash some berries again to defur them!
If you are interested (but who would be?) there are 23 blueberry photos in my 2008 Blueberry Harvest Flickr Set. Go to my meeyauw's Barton Daily Photo to see what we saw on the way home! It's more interesting than the blueberry photos. And a bit overexposed when edited to reveal details. Tomorrow I will show you what else happened on the way home!
