We used to get stuck behind slow-moving sugarcane trucks carrying the raw sugarcane to the mill. There are no more sugar plantations in Hawaii that I know of and so we have nostalgic memories of slow moving cane trucks. I don't think too many people miss the cane fires which was part of the process. Vermont is lovely!
I know it's unpleasant to go behind such a machine, on such a road, but... the landscape, the cloud formations in the sky are... attractive. :) I wish you a nice weekend!
Frustrating!
ReplyDeleteBet that was a slow and dusty drive.
ReplyDeleteThat's not fun!
ReplyDeleteI live in agriculture country so I get this. Happens this time of year and often. Slow going.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. ♥
So frustrating. I hope the scenery made up for a little of the inconvenience.
ReplyDeleteSooner would have been better! But from my perspective they do not care...
ReplyDeleteWe have to learn to be patient...
Happy WW and a fine week!
Just sit back and enjoy the scenery. Have a blessed day.
ReplyDeleteCould-a been worse; what if you were stuck in FRONT of him!? 😉

ReplyDeleteOh boy, our neighborhood is next to a road "improvement" construction zone so we can sure relate to that one!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by! What a bummer getting stuck like that. Your lovely pets made me smile! :-)
ReplyDeleteHow annoying- worse than being behind a bus.
ReplyDeleteIt´s been a long while I´ve seen one of those. Several decades actually. Vast majority of roads are paved where I live so..
ReplyDeleteIt's most frustrating when you are in a rush!
ReplyDeleteHappy Thursday, Andree!
I could only sigh heavily when this happens to me.
ReplyDeleteI have a feeling that took a while.
ReplyDeleteThat is never a great place to be ~ sweet photo, though ~ Xo
