One morning last week, as Wingnut and I drove to swimming lessons, we passed a pasture with a couple of horses, a pond, and this wonderful forlorn donkey wading in the pond. He always looks doleful but he must have been enjoying himself. Who wouldn't be happy on a midsummer day in cool, lily-flowered water?
Eeyore wouldn't be, I guess.

ReplyDeleteI love donkeys! Wish we had them here but the only real wild life we have are coyotes and rattlesnakes -- other than birds.
