    In reference to your comment Sandhill Cranes are very common in pairs and also in large grazing flocks.

  10. Looks like a very nice place, with the forest and water. It actually reminds me of the trail in Henry Cowell (Fall Creek) Park in the Santa Cruz Mountains - I visited on Monday, and will eventually get around to posting about it. It's interesting to note how two very different environments can sometimes look similar.
