Our cider press, made by John in 2015. He used ironwood from our land for the sides and "feet" and birch for the slats. He left the ironwood in its natural state because it's tough wood and I love it like this. I can't remember where he got the mechanical parts. It’s a work of art, and it made all of our cider when he tended the orchard. I am keeping this forever despite several offers to "take it off my hands."
