The sun is out and it is blindingly brilliant outside in the snow. It is also 0°F (-18°C). There was a slate-colored (northern) junco outside at dawn. I have photographs but they are awful. It doesn't seem to want to return for the camera. After days of snow and clouds, the chickadees were sunning and preening. Too many chickadee photos on the blog? Not for me. I could take their photos all day for the rest of my life. I have been up sick all night but I know I will be back to work tomorrow.

Hope you feel better soonly!
ReplyDeleteHi Andree,
ReplyDeleteThank you for the tip on allowing backlinks, it seems to be working, but you must ask why was this done in the first place.
Cheers Mark
I agree- you can't have too many Chickadee pictures! They're one of the few species that stick with us year-round.
ReplyDeleteI hope you're feeling better- it's no fun to have to go to work sick.

Oooh, Andree, I hope you aren't coming down with something. I hope you're feeling better, now.
ReplyDeleteI just love your bird photos. It's a pity you can't come over here and photograh the galahs. My camera only has a small zoom, 3x.
No, my Christmas tree isn't outside. I have large floor to ceiling windows and I have it in front of the window...on the inside. With the afternoon storms, it wouldn't last too long outside, never mind the animals!
Take care and I hope you're feeling better.
Hi, Andree --
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute bird! I can never see too many of the bird pictures on your blog, either.
I'm sorry you were sick and I'm hoping your are feeling better by now.
Ack -- that was supposed to be "you are". I think I've been at the computer too long today! ;-)
