Heads or Tails: Newport Vanes

I have been collecting weather vane photos lately. These are two from the Newport, Vermont waterfront. The top photo is the vane on the Hebard Building. It is a salmon, a fish from Lake Memphremagog. The photo below is of a van from the top of a gazebo on the lake front walkway.

  9. I have always really loved weather vanes--they are becoming harder and harder to come by. We have one with a rooster but I would really love one on the roof. Beautiful!!

  13. I love the barn that we have here, and it has a weather vane on it, which I love. But, I think I want to get a more creative one to replace it with.

Thank you so much for you encouraging note. It really made a difference. Now I am trying to enjoy it instead of fight against it.
