Photo Hunters: Funky

Please click the photo to open it in orginal size in a new window.

Friday was grandson Wingnut's last day with me. He goes back to Connecticut today and then the summer is effectively over. It's time to prepare for the new school year. It was a bittersweet day full of very violent storms with hail and lightning strikes. But the storms were gone by supper time. Amelia, my second daughter, with her funky ankle tattoo, met us in Barton Village because Wingnut wanted Chinese for his last supper. We met at Ming's, our funky restaurant in the log cabin. Wingnut wore his funky bat shirt that he made at the library last week.

  42. Aww how sad! The picture is lovely! you have a beautiful family. You ust be so proud. :-)

I'll miss reading your Wingnut updates, but I always enjoy reading what's going on in your world although I don't comment always. You capture the world beautifully through your words and your photos. I still read you blog several times throughout the week.

Did Wingnut finish The Deathly Hallows? I might have overlooked if you had mentioned it. I've always loved the name Wingnut you have me curious as to its origin.
