Travel the Kingdom & National Geographic

I am going through my mail from the past week and Ridge Protectors has sent me another letter and photoshopped photo of the view from I-91 if the wind turbines are built. It was mentioned in the letter that Vermont is the "number one tourist destination in the nation and ninth in the world." That was a challenge: where were the sources of these figures? I can't find them.

But what was fascinating was the National Geographic link with the Northeast Kingdom.

Geotourism (tourism that sustains or enhances the geographical character of a place – its environment, culture, aesthetics, heritage, and the well-being of its residents. – National Geographic Geotourism Charter) is growing in the Kingdom.
